Belgrade is a city with a rich cultural and historical heritage about which many people, but especially young generations know little about. The city is trying to modernize and follow global trends, however it is doing so in a way that would provide a quick and easy profit. Therefore there are no investment in cultural and educational institutions that preserve or contribute to the cultural heritage of the city.
Cultural and educational institutions are there to educate people but more importantly they are the places where different demographics with similar interest should be accumulated with the possibility to share their ideas and thoughts. Nevertheless, due to the specific distribution of those institutions around the city and their specialization in just one and quite narrow subject, that integration of not just different demographics but also students from different disciplines is lacking.
Therefore, this project is about contributing to the existing educational and cultural institutions that aims to bring students from different disciplines (architecture, civil engineering, biology and ecology) together. But also to integrate different demographics of the city though incorporation of the museum with the theme of architecture and nature into the university, so to enhance the discussion on an educational and cultural level.
