The “Resonance” is a project I envisioned to create a space dedicated to sound healing and relaxation for modern urban life. In today’s fast-paced city environment, many people face mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety, and insomnia due to work pressure, financial burdens, and constant connectivity. With this in mind, I aim to offer a simple yet effective method of healing through sound baths, helping people restore balance and tranquility. Sound baths utilize instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls and gongs to produce soothing sound waves and vibrations, which can reduce stress, improve sleep, relieve anxiety, and enhance overall well-being.
The project is centered around sound baths but also includes additional meditation and relaxation spaces, such as the Natural Sound Scape Garden and Dynamic Sound Healing Lab. These various areas provide more flexible and accessible ways for individuals to relax, catering to different personal needs. Here, participants can choose their preferred method—whether it’s quiet meditation or stretching their bodies amidst music and nature.
Through “Resonance,” I hope that people struggling with insomnia and anxiety can find a sense of harmony—resonating not only with the soothing sounds but also with the surrounding architecture. Ultimately, the project aims to bring calm and serenity to the city, offering a peaceful refuge from urban chaos.
